Elder Lyle Griess

I grew up on a farm just northeast of Sutton, Nebraska in a family of 7.  As a family we attended Free Salem German Reformed Church (country church), where we worshiped and were catechized in the German language.  In 1988 I met my wife, Valerie Gilmore, and over the next 6 years the Lord blessed us with 4 children.  After getting married we became members of Emmanuel Reformed Church (RCUS) in Sutton.  I served as a Deacon & Elder at Emmanuel Reformed Church and was involved in leading catechism & Sunday School for the youth.  In 2013 we moved to Spearfish, SD, and joined Grace Reformed Church.  We have truly been blessed at Grace Reformed Church with solid biblical gospel preaching and a wonderful church family. We now have 4 children, 10 grandchildren and 2 more on the way.  Praise the Lord for His goodness, mercies & grace.
